A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Hacienda Calavera I recently celebrated my sister’s birthday at Hacienda Calavera, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was vibrant yet cozy, with beautiful décor that added to the festive atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The highlight of the night, aside from the delicious food, was the exceptional service—especially from our waiter, Jerry. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, offering great recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. His friendly and attentive nature truly elevated our dining experience.

10/10 Enjoyed every single item we ordered. This is my third visit and I walk out raving about everything every time. The Calabaza is a must!

I was really impressed with my overall experience. The service was great, our waiter was nice and attentive. The food was phenomenal. The tuna tostadas have some kind of matcha salsa base, I’ve never had anything like that before but it was very tasty. I love that this restaurant is Mexico City inspired and the has a very cool modern touch to it. I will definitely be back here again to try more items on their menu.

Terrific experience. Expensive as Spanish restaurants/tapas go, but very high quality and a funky comfortable ambience that works well. Paella was at an exceptional quality and thoroughly authentic for Valencia and surroundings. The “5 jotas” jamón iberico lived up to its rating and is a special treat for this side of the pond. Well matched wines: the sommelier did his/her homework. These were not routine choices and were of fine character. A return visit mos def in the works!

Food and drinks were great. Steak and frites was okay but other flavors and apps made up for it.
