- SShandalynChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe ambiance and drinks was really good! The steak and chicken fajitas were good as well just would have liked the veggies cooked more. I thought the menu had more of a selection but it didn’t. I would definitely go back for the drinks!! Oh the Ceviche was bomb and guacamole was good as well. 8/10More infoHacienda CalaveraPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Cicero•4.3
- GGiancarlovipChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe love the variety and flavor, both in cocktails and menu. We visit often because they have a kids menu, perfect for our toddler. She devoured their kids pizza and ice cream and for this reason the restaurant is one of our favs! The service people are attentive, kind and friendly. We're fans of the piñata cocktail, aguacate salad, calabaza, and the fish tacos. For dessert, the nieve frito is delicious.More infoHoja SantaPrice: Expensive• Latin / Spanish• Oak Park•4.8

- MMaryChicago / Illinois •69 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 27, 2024Beautiful brunch experience! From the engaging details of PUBLICO that were thoughtfully designed on the 1st floor space to the cozy “red glass room” which created a fun ambiance. The Latin American brunch menu which my church friend, Jan ordered a delicious double crab cake benedict with perfectly cooked poached eggs and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce complimented with roasted potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of the El Americano — eggs made to order (chose perfectly scrambled eggs), with 3 meats of sliced ham, maple bacon and chorizo sausage link along with those great roasted potatoes. Yum!!! Will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. Also service was very attentive by manager, Sandra, because we arrived for a late brunch at 1:30pm-2pm so there was just a few other tables. I think it was so new only 3 months open that this place — AltaVida! is a best kept secret because they haven’t done any advertising or promotion that they’re open for weekend brunch yet.More infoAltaVidaPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Naperville•4
