Best Malaysian Restaurants in Smiths Gully

My mum and I came on Wednesday night for the first time and we were not disappointed! Although I’ve lived in the area for over 3 years I always seemed to walk past this hidden gem in the past, but not anymore! I’ll definitely be visiting again very soon. The food was outstanding and in very generous portions, the value for money is amazing in the current economy. I had the seafood laksa and it was full to the brim of big, good quality seafood! My mum had the fish head curry and couldn’t finish more than half of it even though she was eating it without rice. The staff arranged take away boxes very quickly so she was able to enjoy it the next day. The waiters were very friendly and attentive and we met a lovely young man there whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask. He was very friendly and we had a really nice chat. I look forward to seeing him again in our future visits. I would say it’s worth making a booking since it does tend to get quite busy, however in my experience the level of service and the speed with which the food is delivered to the table is not effected by this. Overall 10/10 will come again and highly recommend! 😊

The food was delicious. The portions a little small thou only issue. Not sure if there was an option for bread on the menu would have been nice to go with the lovely curry sauce from the main meal. Other wise lovely meal and service was wonderful also.

What a great find! We were welcomed by the owner/Chef who gave us a an overview of the menu. It did not disappoint. The dumplings OMG best I’ve ever had; the Chicken Laska; AMAZING. Give this restaurant a try you won’t be disappointed. THE FOOD IS DEVINE. 100% loved it
