Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Southeast Baltimore

This is the 3rd time I’ve dined at Ammoora and I was not disappointed. Dining here is an amazing experience from the time you enter the restaurant and are greeted by the hostess. There were three of us and we ordered multiple appetizers, main courses and desserts. The starters included an order of hummus and warm pita bread. I have it’s the best hummus I’ve ever eaten. All the main courses were amazing. The most amazing was the fall of the bone short rib. I had the kofta kebabs I highly recommend. Our server was exceptional. Gigi was very professional and was extremely helpful explaining the menu. If you have a chance and want to try Syrian cuisine, look no further than Ammoora.

An outstanding meal from start to finish! We began with the mezze spreads and perfectly crisp zucchini chips. For sides, the lemon potatoes, rice, and Gigante beans were simply delightful. The Dorado and mussels were seasoned to perfection, bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the homemade Greek desserts were absolutely divine. Service was impeccable—bravo!

Awesome place. Service is another level. The food is so good, fresh, and so well crafted. They made us feel like we unlocked a new level!

We had a really nice time. The ambiance is great. The servers were so very attentive. I’m pretty sure I ordered the Rockfish and got the Halibut, so that makes it hard to give them 5 stars. Also, the fish was a little tougher than I expected. But all the food generally tasted great and seemed well prepared. The apps were amazing.
