In 1835, the Bofarull family founded one of the most charismatic restaurants in the city, Can Bofarull, in the most emblematic part of the Gothic District, near Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Over time, the restaurant was renamed in honour of one of its most famous dishes, Los Caracoles (Snails). Since then, four more generations of the Bofarull family have managed to maintain the excellent standard of it's high quality traditional cooking.The restaurant's well-earned fame has spread all over the world and is now an absolute must for all those visiting our city. Su, valencien de naissance et catalan d'adoption, a créé ce restaurant dans l'espoir de transmettre la cuisine traditionnelle valencienne, avec son plat de renommée mondiale, la "Paella", peu après son ouverture, il a obtenu la reconnaissance de Wikipaella, comme conservateur de la recette traditionnelle. et plus tard chez Luxlife, leurs enfants ont rejoint l'aventure, ce qui lui donne un caractère encore plus familier si possible, dans le désir de représenter une cuisine méditerranéenne authentique, c'est pourquoi nous avons incorporé dans notre menu du poisson salé, que nous élaborons de manière traditionnelle. chemin. avec la recette que nous a apporté la culture phénicienne et si profondément ancrée dans nos côtes. ou des plats typiques de l'intérieur, comme le poulet à l'ail ou les pommes de terre à la morue, et pour terminer un bon repas, nos desserts artisanaux, dans lesquels nous avons réussi à les rendre sans gluten, pour que personne ne se sente discriminé, nous l'espérons .

    Superlocal is an amazing restaurant at the marina with great food! Probably the best restaurant we experienced in Barcelona! Very quiet both times we were there - loved it!

    We went to Shoku on Christmas Day for the Christmas Menu. We made an early reservation at 1:30 which means we get there when it is quieter and less crowded, which we like. There was Christmas music playing of all the old favorites. The service was excellent throughout the meal with someone filling our wine glasses as needed, taking empty plates away promptly, and ensuring that we didn't need anything. The menu was delicious with two options for each course. I had the mushroom and chicken cannelloni and my husband had the traditional Catalan soup, Escudella y Carn D'olla, with was flavorful and plentiful. Then we both had the sea bass in a Catalan Sauce, and Apple Strudel with pistachio ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. All included wine and a final dessert of turrones and cookies for our sobremesa time. The price was very reasonable for this delicious meal. We will definitely go back.
