Great food - ‘large plate’ risotto not really that large but v tasty; chicken main was excellent as was the Greek salad side. Nice place but just-after-work happy arrivals were a wall of noise and we just needed a quick quiet meal before train. So we passed on starter and dessert. Staff were delightful. Definitely worth returning when time and circumstances on our side.

As always, the welcome at Bolton’s was warm and friendly. The asparagus and hollandaise was beautiful as was the superb pasta with veal ragu. Whilst it is a little pricey, on the scale of “you get what you pay for” the quality is unquestionable and Bolton’s is well worth a visit.

We had to leave our table unexpectedly because my fiend received a call to say his son was being taken to hospital following an accident. The manager waived the cost of the water and helped us exit immediately. It was very compassionate and kind. We shall return and cannot commend the staff enough.
