Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Hawthorn East

Great value. Entrees were the best, Youvetsi was delicious but serving size needs to increase, also meat portion was a child's serving Mousaka a fail, eggplant was bitter. Fish, superb. Wine delicious, especially the xinomavro.. Dessert was an absolute hit.. Rizogalo brulee.. OMG, GREAT job guys will visit again.

Honestly nothing to fault for our dining experience here. Place was packed and busy but still top tier service. Our waiter was so friendly and made nice small chats, good wine recommendations. Albeit busy, food came through super quick. The tartare was beautiful, and charred octopus was tender and generous. Nice selection of non-alcoholic options as well! Absolutely loved it and looking forward to coming back here

We took advantage of their BYO policy and brought along some top Italian wines. Many other diners had brought excellent wines in, too. The menu had many tempting items so the 5 of us shared many dishes, both small and large. We must have tried 10 different menu items, and each one was delicious. Great food to match our great wines. Service was very, very good. We had a wonderful dining experience. We will return.

Very lovely vibe, great food, felt like a warm family owned restaurant with genuine passion and pride for their food and service, the chef smiles when we looks out in the restaurant, the staff were so lovely and attentive, also lovely outdoor areas out back and front. We will absolutely be back.
