Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Colts Neck

Chose to try Piccola for something new. Made a reservation but some confusion and we wound up in the bar seating area, okay but a little noisy. Service was pleasant but slow. Food was very good - if a touch expensive. Overall very nice, would try again and be more specific about seating.

The food tonight was outstanding. Our meal was enhanced by our knowledgeable server Kurt? (6’3” football player) He guided us through the menu with recommendations that were spot on and helped me with my Celiac gluten free needs. The bus service was absolutely incredible. My water glass was never empty and our table was serviced so seamlessly by the bus team. I thought the food might suffer a little tonight because it was Valentine’s weekend, but it was superb. My only complaint would be too many tables with people cutting through our table all night but I understand the restaurant needed to accommodate as many people as possible.

We went to celebrate our daughters birthday. Our server Jesse, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The restaurant is nicely decorated! The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank special over risotto and the lamb was so tender and flavorful. My wife and one daughter got the skirt steak with orzo. The steak was cooked perfectly and the orzo was delicious. My other daughter had a fantastic burger. The crispy burrata was so delicious. My only complaint would be you only get one for $16. Highly recommend AP Rooftop!!

Easy going place the food is really nice and the plates are varied and great selection. It is a BYOB which is golden in my book. Reasonable prices as well.

This was our second time dining at Lemon, each has been very good. The staff was engaging and friendly, a delight to talk with. The food was first rate. We started with the Sicilian Rice Balls, they were outstanding. Our entrees were hanger steak and crab cakes, both delicious, but the hanger steak was one of the best beef dishes I’ve ever had. Lemon is now at the top of our dining out list.
