Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Washington Heights

What an amazing experience at Lefkes, celebrating Christmas Day with my daughter she ordered the Ribeye Steak with the Truffle Shallot Butter cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing, my daughter couldn’t wait to cut into the steak. Lefteris was so attentive to the customers and made sure everything was perfect. Mauricio made sure the service was amazing. . For sure will go back thank you Lefkes for a beautiful night.

Our server Leo was outstanding as were the other servers. The food was excellent! We requested a quiet table because one of the people in our party has hearing loss and the restaurant was very attentive to that when seating us. We were not rushed at all and the server was able to recommend several items which were delicious Had the branzino, lamb kabob, shnitzel, as large plates. Taboon "bread" was superb. Humous and Israeli salad were excellent. We decided to have dessert and the flourless chocolate cake and other dessert were scrumptious Will definitely go back! The food is amazing! The hookah is also really good! Everything on the menu is really good ! My favorite is the Hummus

Excellent food - everything from mezzes to main meals and desserts was fabulous, fresh, full of taste and left us wanting more. Excellent service - our waiter was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and helpful and our water glasses were always full. We were seated in the upper back room, near the wine wall - so it wasn't too noisy but it was very warm, much warmer than the main dining room which was comfortable. We look forward to returning!

Always a pleasant experience.. Good food and good service. Only issue was too much oil on salad and grilled shrimp.
