Reviews were right that you have to get the dates and the short-rib hummus.More infoavec West LoopPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• West Loop•4.8

We got there for a 5:00 reservation and the restaurant was very full with people and energy. Their food was wonderful even though we rarely have Greek food. We both had their flat iron steak--delicious--along with Brussell sprouts. Our server was wonderful, willing to answer any question about any entree. We are looking forward to going back to try other selections.More infoVasili'sPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Naperville•4.8

- JJillianChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDid I just have a.... religious experience? I will think about that fried artichoke for the rest of forever. We also had the Suppli Ragu which was crunchy on the outside and soft pillowy cheesy goodness on the inside. The crispy mushrooms on the Bosciaola pizza were a revelation, the mortadella panino was also very good. Our server recommended the Tagliatelle with its "warm winter spices" and it was spot on. The crispy guanciale in the Amatriciana was so tasty. We finished with the pistachio gelato and the cherry sorbet. The gelato was buttery, nutty perfection and the sorbet was like the perfect distillation of a sour cherry pie. Outstanding food! The decor is a little boring/generic but that doesn't usually matter to us so much. I also thought the prices were a smidge high for certain pasta dishes. Also where is the pasta alla gricia?! Seems like an important addition to a very Roman menu. Overall, loved it! Highly recommend.More infoil CarciofoPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Loop•4.6
