- RRobertVIPDallas - Fort Worth •81 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEverything was excellent except, as usual, it was very loud. We started with the guacamole which I think is the best in the city. My friend had never been there and she agreed that it was among the best she had ever had. Margaritas were perfect and generous. I had my favorite - the Ox Eyes with an over easy egg. I am from the El Paso - Albuquerque area and this dish especially reminds me of the great Southwest cooking in that area. My friend had the variety plate with the taco & chicken enchilada. She felt it was terrific. Needless to say with the generous amount of food served we both took boxes home for the next day. I ordered the churros for dessert so she could taste them. They are better than the average churro and are served with chocolate dipping sauce and ice cream. I have to admit I can’t do a bad review of this restaurant because it is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the DFW area - so I am biased.More infoMi Dia From Scratch - PlanoPrice: Moderate• Traditional Mexican• Plano•4.7

Machete marg is nice blend of a slight spice and watermelon. Ceviche is best in DFW. ITS MAINLY seafood- most places seem to be the Vegggies- fruits. Always ask for a quiet table on your reservation- as big glassed in room to the right is perfect for the music ambience but also being able to hear and chat!More infoMexican Sugar - Las ColinasPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Latin• Las Colinas / Irving•4.7
- NNicoleVIPDallas - Fort Worth •31 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMany visits here, this was the most lively and crowded due to National Margarita Day. Our server was excellent and unruffled by the loud party atmosphere. We had table side margaritas which was a fun touch. The squash blossom quesadillas are the best, the enchiladas were great! The pork chop was so-so not much seasoning but overall always a great experience. Our go to spot in Plano for fresh Mexican food.More infoMexican Sugar - PlanoPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Plano•4.6
