Executive Chef and Creative Director Om Waleed’s dishes have a wealth of influences from Palestine, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Our food looks amazing and tastes even better and as you’ll see ‘every dish tells a story’. Fait Maison at 50 Gloucester Road is a great favourite locally, serving up wonderful homemade food using the finest ingredients and friendly, welcoming service. Kindly note that only Fait Maison cakes are permitted in store, do get in touch in advance, if you have a celebration to order a birthday / celebration cake. During very busy periods in the summer and over the Christmas holidays, we work on a walk-in basis. Please bear with our members of staff if there is a queue, we will try to seat you as quickly as possible.

    This restaurant is a hidden gem that I can’t wait to return to. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is great. I loved the risotto and the pork…great selection of desserts too. I could see attention to detail in every dish! Highly recommend.

    Penelope’s Unforgettable experience! The ambiance was lively and inviting. Fantastic live DJ who set the perfect mood for the evening. The food was very impressive, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staffs were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, specially Raju !!! Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a vibrant night out, Penelope’s is definitely worth a visit!

    Lovely local restaurant with a great atmosphere. We have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks, as it’s our go-to place to bring visitors, and the food never disappoints. There’s a good variety of starters, all of which seemed to be prepared fresh. Had a delicious smoky aubergine dish and lamb skewers on this visit, along with some salads. Highly recommended.
