Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Beaconsfield Upper

We celebrated my husband’s birthday while visiting Melbourne. This was the perfect place for a special occasion. The service was among the best we’ve experienced. Very attentive and yet fun and lighthearted. The setting, with the views of the beach was a big plus.

Great variety and delicious, generous food. The service was professional, attentive and helpful, we were advised we may have over ordered and indeed if we had stuck to our order this would have even true, the water glass was never empty. It’s a beautiful space with good sound proofing that allows you to chat and sit without feelings of being rushed (we didn’t feel rushed during or after our meal - thank you!) the staff were relaxed and jovial, overall a very pleasant experience that I would return to.

We had an amazing time. Vibrant atmosphere. Good for younger crowd and older aswell. We dined on Saturday night and it was fully booked. It was a loud environment full of happy customers and smiling waitresses. If you want a quiet corner to eat in this is not the place for you. We loved the vibe. The waitresses were all amazing, happy and very helpful, nothing felt like an effort. The food was fantastic. Fresh and beautifully made could not fault anything. The serving sizes were very large. We probably didn’t need an entree but we had one and it was also fantastic. You definitely should go on an empty stomach. Will definitely be going back.

This was a really good first time experience at Union House. My mum has a dietary requirements for her health and the hotel was very accommodating and she was so happy to sit down to a full meal where she can't always have much off any menu (no salt). The staff were professional, warm, hospitable and friendly. The only point was we had never been to the venue and didn't realise how busy the rooftop was. The staff offered us to move inside though so they did all the right things! We will know for next time.
