Best Modern European Restaurants in Pacific Palisades

We were happy with the food. We, four ladies, are foodies that love to share and taste everything together. Especially when we are celebrating one our Birthday. Must mention about the wonderful server that had great conversation too. Thank you for the lovely dinner.

This restaurant was fantastic! We ordered the calamari, filet mignon tartare, Cesar salad and artichoke heart salad for starters, all of which were phenomenal. Between the 6 of us we ordered the veal Milanese, carbonara, tagliatelle ravioli, and pesto with chicken. These main dishes too were absolutely incredible. In addition to the amazing food, the service was also amazing. Our waitress, Elizabeth, was super nice and really made sure that we had a great experience.

Dishes are served well, and it was delicious. Moktail was fine too, but glass was too sticky, probably with the syrup on drink. Noise in the store was too high me and my friends couldn't easily do the conversation.

We have been to Shirley Brasserie several times and truly love it. The food, drinks and service are seriously top notch with a well rounded, French leaning menu. The restaurant is decorated in classic Hollywood vibes and is situated in the lobby of the famed Roosevelt Hotel. Cocktails were delicious and the bread was warm and fresh baked. For food we had: Charcuterie cheese board, the Shirley salad, a special, fall salad of persimmons and leeks, steak tatare, duck breast, French fries and brussel sprouts. Everything was prepared with super fresh ingredients and the flavors were all perfect. Unfortunately we were too full to eat dessert so the chocolate mousse will have to wait until the next time we are there....probably in a couple weeks. Add this to your list of Hollywood favorite restaurants and thank me later.

I can’t stop thinking about this meal—even five days later! It wasn’t just food; it was a masterpiece. Each dish felt like a journey for both the palate and the mind. If you’re open to a truly immersive dining experience and willing to splurge, this is one indulgence that’s absolutely worth every penny. The staff was beyond incredible—gracious, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable, even packing up my favorite emulsion to savor at home (and trust me, it was just as delicious the next day!). From start to finish, everything about this place exudes artistry and warmth. If you’re ready for an unforgettable culinary adventure, this is the spot. Yummm…
