Best Modern European Restaurants in Leatherhead

Utterly delicious food, highly recommend, charming staff - top notch all round. It had been a while since we were last there and still as good as I remember it.

Pretty much a perfect meal, food outstanding and great value.

We are long-standing customers of The French Table. We had the Tasting Menu which had seven courses each one being superb, the best being the last with a quite superb pistachio cheesecake. The service was very attentive and were excellent in clearing up after I had accidentally spilled my glass of wine with the minimum Of fuss.

The food was presented beautifully, and the service was great. The flavours and combinations were delicious, some small issues but made the chef aware and they took it on board gracefully. Also, there was no a la carte menu which was a little disappointing as we had planned what we wanted to order, but only a set menu was available on the day. The octopus was deliciously tender and flavoursome! And although the portions looked small, we were so full we didn't make it to dessert. Would expect the surf and turf to be a larger portion for the extra supplement of £15, not much meat, but we were still full at the end of the main course. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and as we were the only ones there we were waited on hand and foot, planning to go back when it is busier for sure. The cocktails were quite yummy and the restaurant is very smart looking, but the toilet area needs work. Thank you to the whole team for being so attentive and welcoming!

We had a fantastic evening celebrating a 40th birthday dinner. The staff were warm and welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and lives up the restaurants Michelin star . All the produce was fresh and sourced from Ireland. We had the tasting menu and we did not regret it , as we were able to experience a range of dishes. My particular favourite was the sovereign street black pudding! As Ian ( the front of staff ) would say “we had a grand time ! “
