- SSherylVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025This was a last-minute reservation to check out the NY Polar Bear Swim at Kits Beach! Since my mom had never seen one, nor visited this boathouse location, I thought we should come and see if we’d get lucky with front-row seats—and yes, the Boathouse delivered! We were ushered to window seats facing Kits Beach in a nice, heated space. We loved our server Lauren’s recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed the oyster sampler from PEI. My mom also loved the Monte Cristo. We then shared the bruschetta board, tuna tacos, and delicious mussels! Lauren’s warm smile and outstanding service made our meal even more enjoyable. My mom especially appreciated her attentiveness in ensuring plenty of hot water—a must for older Asian ladies, lol. Overall, this was a great lunch spot, and we look forward to visiting again!More infoThe Boathouse at Kits BeachPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Kitsilano•4.5
