Best Oyster Bars in Old Fourth Ward

We went for my wife’s birthday and it was perfect. She was happy with the entire experience and so was I. The food was amazing and we didn’t have to wait long. Everything was a 10/10, appetizers, drinks, entrees and desert. Our server Ershell was the best we have ever had at any restaurant. We had a great time and will definitely be back soon.

Another great meal at BeetleCat! The donut brunch lights up my life, and I'm in a serious relationship with the lobster roll. I had the chef's selection of oysters this time... just excellent. Service is always personable and professional. I look forward to my next visit!

Possibly the best and freshest selection of oysters in the city (at least in top 3). At $4.00+ a piece, it is also one of the more expensive places for oysters. The rest of menu is well composed with a variety of pastas, fish and other items for vegetarian or non-fish diner. Service on this visit was not up to usual standard. My biggest complaint and a major restaurant faux pas was the arrival of both our salads and our mains at the same time. Our waiter was a bit sporadic or inconsistent with his table visits which may have contributed to the poor pacing of our meal. Overall, Alici is an excellent choice for vibrant atmosphere, great oysters and delicious food.

I had the best time at C&S yesterday …. Every time I come in Alex is always so kind and personable and helpful with my weird OCD and anxiety he always accommodates me no matter the issue…. Then there is Mo my favorite server … he’s always on point with my orders no matter how particular and has this dope energy that engages and makes me laugh and he keeps my drinks flowing 🤣💜…. When you visit please ask for either of them and you WILL NOT be disappointed…. You’ll also have a great time!!!💃🏿💜🤞🏿🥰💜

Lindsey was our server on Christmas Eve. Great service and lots of holiday cheer. Full house around 730/8pm. The cheeseburger is the only item I ever get from the menu. WORTH IT.
