- LLana RVIPCincinnati / Dayton •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDelicious salad w baby tomatoes, ricotta, pine nuts, and red leaf lettuce and excellent wild mushroom risotto. Yummy dessert - little fried doughballs, very light and tasty. Attentive and friendly service, with good suggestions when asked. Came for late ish lunch on Sunday and ate in pleasant dining room with stone walls and wooden benches. We usually have dined on the patio, which is also pleasant when it’s not too cold. A favorite place for us.More infoBirroteca - BaltimorePrice: Moderate• Italian• Hampden•4.7
- LLauraVIPWashington, D.C. Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Via Sophia, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a chic Italian vibe that made it perfect for a midday escape. The menu had a great selection of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe—perfectly al dente pasta with a creamy, peppery sauce that was bursting with flavor. We also tried the Margherita Pizza, which was fresh, perfectly crisp, and just the right size to share. The service was impeccable—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great wine pairing suggestions to complement our meal. Overall, Via Sophia is a gem for Italian cuisine lovers, whether you’re dining with friends, colleagues, or just treating yourself. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes! Highly recommend for anyone in search of a top-notch Italian lunch spot. 👌🇮🇹More infoVia Sophia Washington DCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.4
- KKimWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 3, 2024I have no idea why this place isn't packed and overrun every night. But I guess I'm glad I can still get in? The pizza's are the thing for me. I wish I could eat a whole one by myself because I just want those flavors in my mouth forever. But they are Very filling and a little goes a long way. Plan to share. I also love the every-changing sides and the clever presentations. The Caesar salad is deelish (even though I push the fresh anchovies off on to my tinned-fish-loving husband every time). Ditto the shishitos, yum. Honestly, It's worth trying something if it sounds good because it will be good. The arancini? What?! How can they be that good? It sounds like an unlikely marriage of Japanese and Italian, but be brave.More infoTonariPrice: Expensive• Italian• Penn Quarter•4.7
- VVanessaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 6, 2024We had a fantastic experience at Brazil Gourmet Pizzaria and Grill! It was my husband’s first “all-you-can-eat” pizza buffet, and he loved it. The variety was amazing—I especially enjoyed the picanha pizza and the Romeo and Juliette dessert pizza. Great food, friendly service, and a taste of Brazil. We’ll definitely be back!More infoBrazil Gourmet Pizzeria & GrillPrice: Expensive• Pizzeria• Damascus•4.8
