Bar closing time is at the discretion of the hotel management team each night.     It was our first time at The Lester Arms and we had a terrific experience. All the waitresses that we encountered were brilliant and the food was exceptional. The location and parking was great. Highly recommended.

    Really beautiful pub renovated to a sensitive but modern standard, cosy and tasteful interior. Friendly helpful staff, great and well priced menu, fab for families (I visited with my 8 year old). Worth travelling for and we will visit again. Met the high standard we expected from regularly visiting the market halls also operated by this group.

    Great atmosphere, warm, cozy and quiet enough to hold conversation. Wide range of foods on the menu and a choice of specials. Good drink selection. Some of the portion sizes were slightly small but that is my only criticism. What stood out was the excellent service. Attentive and friendly staff who could not do enough. Really outstanding.

    We did have the custom Christmas dinner. My son went for the vegetarian option and I had the steak both dishes were very tasty and enjoyable. I would most definitely book again
