Best Seafood Restaurants in Avalon Park

The lite salmon entree was cooked perfectly. The chicken Madeira was tasty. Our server Virginia offered us wine taste. We have been several times and never offered that before. We have purchased the Blanc de Blanc and always enjoyed it. However this time having sampled different sparkling styles enticed us to purchase a couple of bottles to take home.

Food was good, happy hour always good to catch whenever possible. Was held up in traffic but called ahead. Was surprised app didn’t recognize our arrival even as we’re coming through doors at the time reservation gets canceled, and it did. Would’ve been nice if the app communicated with the restaurant better tour arrival so you don’t lose your table even during arrival within the grace period. Thankfully it wasn’t busy and Ava the lady we spoke with remember us calling and added us back in for our canceled reservation, so all was good again. On the soup we skipped, it just doesn’t seem the same anymore to have to pay for he shrimp to be added back in when that was a staple for so many years, and then changed, during the time of the start of the pandemic. We’ll probably order again, but eeh for now on that. Overall it was a nice pre-Valentine’s dinner treat. They best value of course was the drink specials, but that’s likely due to always ordering the same menu item when, I ought to change it up more, and feel like my socks are knocked off.

We got the lobster bisque and truffle fries to start. I LOVED the lobster bisque so much! We had never had fries cooked in truffle oil before so the flavor was weird, but they were yummy and crunchy. The bread was hot and fluffy! My boyfriend had the Elk filet, and he loved it! He said it was delicious and tender, and the mushrooms he added to it were juicy and flavorful. I has the filet wellington, and it came with parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was everything I dreamed it would be when I searched the menu and picked it before we even arrived. The pastry was super light and flaky and the filet just melted through with each cut. It comes with a sauce that they pour over it for you. Everything on my plate was high class and definitely worth it. The only thing I can say is that parking was hard to find, but that was because there was an event happening up the road, and the roads were blocked. Also, this wasn't a big deal for us, but the regular filets like a sirloin, ribeye, filet mignon or the elk filet do not come with sides. Just a heads up about that. Great place though! Highly recommend for a small celebration or girls nights.

Wonderful dining experience. We met the Manager, Scott who was the nicest, friendliest person who went above and beyond to make our dinner so very special. You see....we lost our precious daughter, Jenna 20 months ago. It was sudden and traumatic. The Boathouse and the Fillet Mignon sliders were here favorite. Her last birthday Orlando celebration in February 2023 was so special. We lost her suddenly in June 2023. We live on Long Island, we visit 3 to 4 times per year and T.J. has always taken care of us. Thank you to the staff at Tje Boathouse, T.J. and Scott for helping us through our grief at Jenna's favorite restaurant. You help to heal my heart! Sincerely, Jayne Hudson💜💜💜

Our server was very cordial and polite. He came around to to see us amble times. Our main course took longer to serve than we like. However, overall the service was very good.
