- CChrisBaltimore / Maryland •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSo we got there a little earlier than expected for our reservation due to a giant wind/rain storm. We decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited for our reservation time. I got an Elmer T Lee with a large cube and my wife got an espresso martini. The espresso martini did not fill the glass which was odd and it was overly boozey tasting. But the real issue I had with the bar was the bill. They automatically added 20% gratuity to a bar bill which is completely unacceptable. I worked in the industry when I was younger and was even a bar tender. She made a single drink, which was the espresso martini, and then poured whiskey, which I had to show her where it was, into a glass for a $9.00 tip. She received a %5.00 dollar tip alone from pouring a single whiskey. This is unacceptable. Every reasonable person knows you do not get tipped on the whiskey pours and the beer/wine pours. Its perfectly acceptable to add a dollar for each of those drinks. Honestly when you add automatic 20% gratuity to anything, youre essentially adding a tariff to the entire menu. Every single item on the menu is incorrect, because you added a 20% tax on every single item you should have two prices on the menu next to the item. Now we went ahead and continued to dinner. The appetizer was the hashbrowns and cavier which was delicious, perfectly portioned. The Lobster Bisque soup was very good and had some interesting flavors. My wife got the 6oz filet and it was cooked perfectly, I had the duck breast and it was also delicious. We went with the mac and cheese, which was nicely portioned for the price and extremely creamy. Perfect for two people to split. Then as our bill was coming out the server warned us it included 20% gratuity which was appreciated. She informed us we could change it if we wished. I really wished the bar tender would have done the same.More infoThe RuxtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harbor East•4.8

Service & Atmosphere I had made a 7:30 PM reservation, and we arrived at 7:28 PM. After checking in at the front desk, we walked upstairs, and within 20 seconds, our name was called. The seating process was smooth and well-organized, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Food & Drinks Due to the holiday, the restaurant had a set menu. I ordered the lobster tail, while my wife opted for the lobster tail with an added crab cake. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. The drinks complemented our meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Final Thoughts Rusty Scupper delivered excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier seafood. It has definitely earned a spot on my list of restaurants to return to. If you’re looking for a great waterfront dining experience in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this place is a must-visit. Rating: 5/5 – Highly Recommended!More infoRusty Scupper - BaltimorePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Inner Harbor•4.7
- CCaseyWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI heard good things about the Atlas Group’s restaurant Watershed and was delighted to meet out of town friends there on Valentine’s Day. Sydney our server was terrific a real delight. We tried assorted appetizers from the special and regular menus. All were good but the blackened tuna bites were a big favorite. All entrees were very good, we had crab cakes, lobster roll, trout and rockfish. The crème brûlée for dessert was a nice way to finish off the evening. The restaurant was a little loud with music that made it difficult to have a conversation with the entire table.More infoWatershedPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Federal Hill•4.5

- MMarionBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything about my experience at Rye Street Tavern was perfect! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and warm. Even though the place was busy, we felt like everyone was attentive to us, which really made the evening special. For Valentine’s Day, the filet mignon was absolutely exquisite—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The whole fried chicken hen was a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The crab and artichoke dip was a perfect starter, rich and creamy with just the right balance of flavors. To top it all off, the cappuccino was smooth and comforting, and the wine selection complemented the meal beautifully. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the evening even more enjoyable. A+ all around! Rye Street Tavern has earned a special place in my heart, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for any occasion!More infoRye Street TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Port Covington•4.6
