Best Seafood Restaurants in South Elgin

e have never gone out for dinner on Christmas Day, but this year we were a small group of four, so we decided not to cook and made reservations at Devon’s. Boy, are we glad we did! Their Christmas Prix Fixe menu was wonderful with many great choices. As a table, we had lobster bisque, gumbo, lamb, scallops, sea bass, lamb and filet. All were stunning! It was very busy but service was spot-on, thanks to server extraordinaire, Janet! She really made our evening special and gave great recommendations. Cost for such fine food was really a great value as well. We are definitely going back!

We had such a pleasant dinner! The restaurant was packed but the excellent acoustics make conversation easy. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server, Denzel, was attentive and added to the overall wonderful experience.

It was decorated for Christmas, with a great value at happy hour. Can't ask for much more. Live piano music, good food, and great atmosphere. Can't ask for much more

Reservation was for 6PM, we arriv snob time and were seated right away. Orders Minestrone soup (very good), everyone's meals were delivered hot and delicious. April or server was on top of her game. The coffee cake dessert was one of the better desserts I've had in any restaurant highly recommended it.
