    Amazing staff and service, the staff were incredible, food delicious, fed our dog too, lovely chat with all the staff, couldn't do enough for us. Complimentary oysters and a glass of prosecco, how fantastic, special shout out to the lady at the till with the auburn hair, sorry forgot her name, and Gordon, we were looked after so well, A BIG Thank you to you all.     Our first full day in Edinburgh started with a tour of Edinburgh Castle and ended with dinner at Cafe Royal. Both were fabulous! Fish and chips, Balmoral chicken and amazing beef were all enjoyed by my party. Ending with the delightful sticky toffee pudding, the meal was perfect. Couple the amazing food with the warm and inviting surroundings, friendly service and holiday decor, we couldn’t have designed a more wonderful evening.

    It was absolutely amazing. The venison Wellington was to die for, and very reasonably priced. The processes of meat explanation and choice of weapon (aka, knives) were entertaining, and made the meal that much more enjoyable. Louise, our server, was so kind and thorough- she deserves a raise and every major holiday off. And as a bonus, the manager is very charming and handsome :) Definitely stop by if you get the chance!
