- AAngelVIPGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoValentines Pre-Fixed was absolutely outstanding. The Lobster Cavatelli is worth the price of admission alone. Our Server Jessica was outstanding - attentive, thoughtful, and considerate. My NY Strip was slightly undercooked from my Medium request, but the kitchen was undoubtedly earning their keep on a busy night. Would definitely return, and this is a great spot to celebrate Valentine’s.More infoThe Banks Seafood and SteakPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Back Bay•4.5
- TThapGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBistro du Midi is a wonderfully intimate restaurant with phenomenal food, drinks, and staff. We arrived on time for our reservation and were notified they were running behind but that they would collect us if we sat at the bar. The bartender was kind and attentive and as time passed, we were gently invited back to be seated and allowed time to finish our drinks. We ordered the Valentine’s Day menu, a choice selection through 5 courses. All of the options were phenomenal, we started with a small soup (tea cup sized) which we had anticipated for a larger tasting menu, but by course 3 we were hitting the wall! Portions were outstanding just small enough to be able to finish the next dish but large enough to feel very full by the end! We also ordered the cocktails oui chef, a lemon flavored cocktail and (please forgive me I forgot the name) a smoky combination of mezcal and cognac. Both of which were outstanding! Overall, we felt very satisfied! Being a big event for us we felt that the splurge was worth it, however, candidly it was a *very* large splurge so be prepared!More infoBistro du MidiPrice: Expensive• French• Back Bay•4.6
- RRLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGrill 23 on Valentine's Day was as spectacular as usual. We started out with the Seafood Tower, had a French Onion Soup, followed it with a Wedge Salad, and then the Rib Eye. Food was awesome as ever and the bread basket was filled with great goodies such as corn bread, raisin pumpernickel, and more. The extensive wine list provided a lot of choices and we started with a Paul Hobbs and ended with a Screaming Eagle.More infoGrill 23 & BarPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Back Bay•4.8
- DDavidVIPGreater Boston •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is our second Valentine's Day and Ostra and again they knocked it out of the park. My significant other left very happy. Service was classic Ostra, professional, friendly and attentive. The food is simply fantastic, elegant, fresh, expertly prepared and presented. They even asked if we had plans for after dinner, which we did, to ensure we'd be served without creating a time problem. Ostra is, hands down, our favorite Boston restaurant, and given how much we travel, it's honestly one of the best places we've been to in all of our travels.More infoOstraPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Back Bay•4.9

(Chef) does a great job - food is always well-crafted, flavorful and creative. Staff is kind, professional and genuine. Good spacing on tables, great cocktails/wine pairings.
