Best Seafood Restaurants in Oak Brook

We have never gone out for dinner on Christmas Day, but this year we were a small group of four, so we decided not to cook and made reservations at Devon’s. Boy, are we glad we did! Their Christmas Prix Fixe menu was wonderful with many great choices. As a table, we had lobster bisque, gumbo, lamb, scallops, sea bass, lamb and filet. All were stunning! It was very busy but service was spot-on, thanks to server extraordinaire, Janet! She really made our evening special and gave great recommendations. Cost for such fine food was really a great value as well. We are definitely going back!

Family has been dining at your Oak Brook location for years till it closed. This was our first visit to Rosemont location. Easy to park, easy to get into restaurant. Excellent staff, from front entrance to servers to bussing. Great food and selection for the holiday.

For a holiday, service was exceptional. George was our server and was quite attentive. One entree- Filet Mar did not come out temp as requested, but they quickly took away and replaced correctly. All entrees were wonderful, Lemon Chicken Dijon superb. Save room for dessert, Banana Foster was quite good. And my friend loved the turtle cheesecake. I tried the Eddie Merlot Specialty coffee and it was sooooo good.

And don’t even get me started on the desserts—they were the perfect sweet finale! What truly sets Eddie Merlot’s apart is the attention to detail. From the presentation of the food to the cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, everything was designed to make us feel special. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a high-end dining experience, Eddie Merlot’s is the place to be.
