Best Seafood Restaurants in West Indy

BEST restaurant in Indianapolis. Visiting this area often, I've dined in most of the restaurants, but my absolute favorite is St. Elmo. Outstanding kitchen (legendary beef!), everything is very carefully sourced and painstakingly prepared from outstanding recipes. With many visits, it's a privilege to say that every experience has been an outstanding one, and every server is superb This time, "Sydney" assisted us with the exemplary professionalism and warmth that we have come to expect from St. Elmo. Even if you have only one opportunity for a meal, while you're in town, GO THERE. If you have two opportunities, go there TWICE!

The manager that sat us...came back later and checked on us, we were ready for a couple of drinks, he took our order himself and they were delivered promptly, that was so nice that HE took the order and didn't send the server back...its the little things....thank you!

Cory was a fun waiter. Staff is professional and friendly. Background music was perfect. Food is always fresh and prepared perfect. First time we have had sushi rolls at Oceanaire; it did not disappoint; some of the best tasting I have had. The pan seared tuna was perfect. My partner had the chicken fried lobster... I also had a bite. It was delicious.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, was afraid that this fine dining restaurant would be way out of my comfort zone, but I was thoroughly impressed. 12/10. Because of the holiday and Pacers game, the crowd was extremely light which made for a personal and cozy experience. Food was delectable! Astounding. 10 oz steak was so thick that it was maybe a bit rare in the middle for a medium rare, but the flavor and juice was of such high quality, all was good. Mac & Cheese? Incredible. A friend in the group said her Dirty Martini was impeccable. She and my wife loved the Caesar salad twist. AND, the anniversary dessert and raspberry cocktail were the perfect complimentary special treat! Then, we popped down to Mel’s after for some live jazz and cocktails. Honestly, a really neat experience overall. Can’t wait to return to celebrate other special events.
