Le Soul Cafe offre un menu moderne du sud-ouest américain fait à partir d'ingrédients régionaux. I had the Oxtails they were delish staff great and the wait gave us time to talk and catch up I had a great time will be going back again even though this was my 4th time going. LOL

The taste of the food was definitely worth the trip to Oakland, however, the set up is more of a cafe style, which I had not expected. I had the turkey wings which were excellent and my husband had the ox tails which he enjoyed, but said there was too much fat, next time, they should cut off some of the fat before serving to customers. The gravy used on the turkey wings and ox tails was exceptionally good. The beans and rice was average, the corn bread was good, and the cabbage was also good.
