Before arriving in the UK Babuji decided to travel through Bangladesh, India then Pakistan, teaching, learning and eating lots on the way. In particular the street stalls of Calcutta, Mumbai, and Lahore were his favourites. Our food is a homage to the street vendors and Cafés of South Asia. Great service and food. They apologised for time it took to get food from ordering to the table. But did not even notice. Drinks were given free for this. But there was no need really. Food lovely will go again.

We lunched at Lucky Cat Chefs Table thanks to my nephew, Robbie, on a day that was very poignant to us as as Robbie is L.A. based and has been evacuated today from Encino due to the Palisades fire. Our thoughts and prayers to all in LA and an ENORMOUS thank you to Ken and Sean at Lucky Cat for such a wonderful experience. Amazing food - every course an absolute visual and savoury delight ❤️
