Best Southern American Restaurants in Kannapolis

Our server was lovely and attentive… so pleasant . Tomato bisque soup and arugula salad was amazing. Cant wait to go to Roosters at the bowl!

We typically go to dinner at Rooster’s prior to a Bluementhal show. The experience is mostly always good, with the exception of a couple of hiccups. Hiccups are usually addressed by management, so we continue to support. I would recommend Rooster’s for the good food, convenience and ambience.

The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!

We brought out of town guests because we knew the experience would be great and it was. The Salmon, meatloaf, shrimp and grits and the gnocchi were excellent and Lauren, our server, was very attentive and friendly.

Staff was great. Truly great. The rooms are a little loud when multiple tables are set. The outside area looked very nice. The appetizers and salads were extremely good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger with fries. The shrimp and grits were OK at best. We only ate half of the burgers. The fries were on point.
