Best Southern American Restaurants in Lake Bluff

This was our first visit to Bluegrass, and we will definitely be back. The restaurant had a special Mardi Gras menu, although our outstanding server, Zarai, assured us that many of the NOLA-inspired items were on the regular menu as well. Everything we had was delicious; our friends and I especially recommend the Key West seafood salad and the shrimp and grits with shrimp and andouille sausage. As already noted, the service was outstanding, and the hostess/manager was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was an A+ experience.

I had a party of 10 and everybody order something different. I had no complaints at that Table. Which is rare everything was on point I had to hoping child nice and spicy I had side order greens very good try to bread pudding Loved it.

After 2 disappointing visits I came back after a year...i loved the food this time, back to what I remembered and enjoyed about this place.. Chicken, brisket, ribs all cooked well. Good service and good value.

The service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. The corn bread was fresh tasting, crab cakes were flavorful , oysters were succulent, burgers fresh and delicious, ribs juicy and outstanding. The Coca Cola cake was a great way to end a wonderful meal.
