Best Southern American Restaurants in Middleburg

My friends and I had a really nice time here. The music was amazing! The service by our waitress Ayanna was superb. The food was hit or miss unfortunately. The catfish nuggets were really good as well as the fried okra but I had the chicken fried chicken and it was really fatty. Several of my friends had the mac and cheese and no one finished and said that you start. It could have been a lot better. Only one of the six of us loved her meal and she had the pecan chicken and waffles which I tasted and it was delicious! The drinks were really good as well. In all, the vibe was great but the food could've been better

Good luck parking here if you happen to go for lunch. As popular as this place is, it should have more available parking. As usual, the food was really good, the service too.

It was absolutely fabulous and my fried whole red snapper was prepared just right. An amazing dining experience.

Lovely old tavern. Really great food and good service. Only issue is price, which was quite high, even by DC standards. We love to dine out and we have been to many of the areas best restaurants over the years. This ranks right up there with the best in terms of food quality, but the prices are out of line. They strike me as exclusionary rather than production related. Nonetheless, if you want a excellent meal in nostalgic" old money" surroundings, this is your place.

This place NEVER disappoints! Crab dip is always immaculate! The burger is to die for and the truffle pasta is still on my mind hours after leaving! Will always highly recommend this place.
