Best Southern American Restaurants in Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn

Upon entry into the building. There were two females host who looked at me and kept their conversation going. No welcoming at all nor tried to assist me, my husband had to come get me to be seated at our table. Other than that the food was amazing, our server was amazing, and so were the drinks. The dj only played rap which was a bit overwhelming for me, with it being an upscale setting I was expecting more of a chill vibe playlist. This restaurant would have been a 10/10 if it wasn’t for the host and dj choice of music.

I live out of town and came to celebrate a birthday and the entire experience was outstanding!! I really appreciated that there was a waiting area and in the time we were waiting the music was excellent and the drinks were also. When we were seated our waitress came over immediately (I can’t remember her name) but she was top notch. Very impressed with her customer friendly attitude. She was very personable and attentive. She got all out drink orders and food orders correct. She continued to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was impeccable!! I had the surf and turf and it was amazing!! I will definitely be back again!!!

We both enjoyed our return visit to Haywire. The elk tacos and onion rings starters were delicious. The ribs and chicken entrees were cooked just right left us no room for desert. Service was very good during our meal.
