THE PORT HOUSE DUBLIN & LONDON Opened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District.
After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law!
In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. We were offered drinks as we purused the menu. Our starters, wings and bites, arrived in a timely fashion and were pipping hot and very tasty. We chose to leave a little time between starter and mains and this was honoured. Our mains, steak and sea bass were cooked to perfect. The sea bass was divine and the steak very tender. Dessert was raspberry roulade and was light and delightful. A really wonderful experience. THE PORT HOUSEDUBLIN & LONDONOpened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District. After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law! In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. Which is an incredibly diverse area that gives us the opportunity to present our tapas, ports and wines with a focus on Cava that does not receive the attention it deserves.

Overall Dope tapas is lovely. Very nice wine. The menu is a bit limited i thought but hopefully as it gets more established it will grow. Service and atmosphere were excellent and the dishes were beautifully presented and extremely tasty
We had a fabulous meal at GFP last evening. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. We were offered drinks as we purused the menu. Our starters, wings and bites, arrived in a timely fashion and were pipping hot and very tasty. We chose to leave a little time between starter and mains and this was honoured. Our mains, steak and sea bass were cooked to perfect. The sea bass was divine and the steak very tender. Dessert was raspberry roulade and was light and delightful. A really wonderful experience. Thank you to all the staff at GFP Dunshaughlin.
Food, as always , was outstanding. Absolutely delicious.
We were in the covered part of the restaurant which is not quite as nice as the main part, but its only a very minor, minor thing.
We love coming here and the food is always amazing.
