My pasta, octopus salad was outstanding. I’m still thinking of the perfectly executed panna cotta. Can’t wait to come back.More infoFrascatiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Russian Hill•4.9

The red sangria is their in house recipe and the best I have had anywhere. We had a variety of warm tapas, every one of which was first rate. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.More infoCOQUETA - San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7

- MMariaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •36 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOur evening at Canela was wonderful from start to finish. The happy hour is a great deal although it’s only available at the bar seats of which there are only 8 or 10! The food is really delicious. We ordered a bunch of tapas. We loved the chicken skewers, the Spanish Caesar salad, the Market salad and the croquettes. My friends enjoyed the pork rinds and the chorizo. The biggest surprise of the evening was the delicious gazpacho - something I don’t usually order but it had pears, strawberries and feta cheese with croutons. It was the best gazpacho I’ve ever had. The shrimp with garlic were also some of the best I’ve ever had. The sauce was sooo good and it’s served with bread to soak up the extra sauce. We had sangria - both red and white which were super tasty. I enjoyed the Tempranillo by the glass which paired perfectly with the food. Service was professional and attentive. Our table was a booth tucked in a corner which was cozy and made conversation easy to hear among the 4 of us in our party. We ended with coffee which is made to order and split an order of churros. It was a delicious end to a terrific evening!More infoCanela Bistro & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Castro•4.8
