Best Steak Restaurants in Austin

My spouse and I went for our birthdays today and it was our first time coming. The waiter was so nice and definitely had excellent recommendations for food and mixed drinks. They surprised us with cake and birthday shots! We were so full at the end of everything! We plan to come back again.

I loved the lobster tails, scampi style & thought the pasta was a wonderful accompaniment. Also the chopped salad was crisp & had the perfect amount of salad dressing. The only downer was the red fish crudo. The main flavor was an overwhelming lime taste. It would've been much better in a "tears of the tiger" sauce or with some wasabi to make it more sushi-like. Serving it with crackers would help also and the avocados were unsalted. I've tried almost the whole Red Ash menu - the crudo is my least favorite dish. Try any of the other appetizers instead!

Our dinner at Ruth’s Chris was fantastic. The dining room was stunning…recently updated? Our drinks and appetizers were delicious and were delivered right on time. The steaks and sides were perfectly prepared and served sizzlingly hot! Our server was very attentive. All in all a very nice experience.

Boa has a great menu with lots of choices. From app to desert everything we had was delicious. Apps we had Oysters and caviar all was good. The Cesar salad made at table side was one of the best I have had. Three of us had steaks and the were delicious and one of us had sea bass that was very good. They have a large wine list with a great selection. The service was excellent and we will definitely be going back.

An absolutely amazing restaurant! The food was a gourmet’s delight! Our waiter Kevin was outstanding! He focused on every detail of our cocktails and our meal!
