Best Steak Restaurants in Dartmouth

Our experience was phenomenal! We went to celebrate a big birthday, and the servers made us feel so special our entire visit! Our server Jeffery was awesome and made the experience!

Not our first time there and as usual they didn’t disappoint. Food was on time and delicious especially the chowder. Drinks were great as well. We’ll be back.

Fantastic dining experience. Food and service were top-notch. Not as comfortable as a traditional steakhouse, and a bit noisier as well, but well worth the visit. We will return.

My husband and I always enjoy The Black Whale. We both had drinks. I had my favorite, pear martini and he tried the special with Bullet Rye in it but I forget what the other ingredients were . I ordered from the special menu tonight. I had the baked stuffed shrimp and my husband ordered the blackened swordfish from the regular menu. Both were excellent. I suggested to the manager that they put the baked stuffed shrimp on the regular menu but he said that would not happen because they cannot make enough money from this dish. At $32, this surprised me since shrimp is not that expensive on the market. In saying that, I’m a little disappointed, but they have many great entrees on the menu. The staff, service, etc was excellent. Can’t go wrong if you want an excellent meal here.

We dined there on NYE. They had an available reservation earlier in the evening so we thought we would try it. Molly was our server and she was the only server that night. She was hustling. I had the shrimp Mozambique. It was good but different with potatoes and rice. We also had a lobster roll but too many claws. My husband did not love it. My daughter had the baked scallops and she liked them. Kale soup was yummy . Drinks were ok. The dinner was pricey in my opinion. The place is probably better to visit in the summer. This is being picky but I liked to have a glass of water shortyly after being seated.
