Best Steak Restaurants in Hillcrest

I had the shrimp linguini which was exceptional!! My friend had the swordfish and she said it was the best she had tasted in San Diego. There was a good selection of wines. The dessert was the flourless chocolate cake, also the best we have tasted in San diego.

Funky venue with responsive staff and beautiful food. Our wagyu was replaced when the first serving was overcooked - the second effort was delicious. Fairly priced for the quality.

Great wait staff!! Focaccia bread a little too soggy after awhile

The food and service was outstanding! Great location and ambience. I had the Sicilian Ribeye and it was delicious. It came with fries and the portions were huge. It’s a loud and happening place but fun. The prices of the food was surprising too, very affordable, especially for the portions you get. I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back.

The food, service, and view were spectacular! We had the house salad, and the special of the day, blackened halibut with saffron sauce, asparagus wrapped in bacon, and parmesean risotto. It was my friend's birthday and they offered to bring her a complimentary mud pie or creme brulee. She chose the creme brulee and it was delicious! Our server, Jeanne, treated us like royalty and was very attentive. My friend commented that it was the best meal she had ever had! What a day! Thank you for making our day so special! Can't recommend the Brigantine at Portaide Pier enough!!!
