Best Steak Restaurants in San Ysidro

We had a fabulous salmon dinner, great service, delicious butter cake and key lime desserts. We’ll be back!

Wow! Hats off to the chef and pastry chef. My goodness!! The food was amazing! We travels to San Diego (from Dallas) for a girl’s girl weekend with my sister. So glad we made reservations here. The food we knew would be good but didn’t know how good. Flavor profile was beyond! We had the Kamachi, cucumber salad, brocollini, lamb chop and short ribs! Divine! For dessert, we were so full but because this was sort of an early bday dinner for my sister our lovely waitress Bonnie brought us a matcha shortcake. Soooooo good. I was sad we didn’t have room to get anything off their dessert menu. I can only imagine how delectable that would have been. We had mage reservations and it was still a well occupied place. Filipino flavors with a twitch, so good.

The food and service was outstanding! Great location and ambience. I had the Sicilian Ribeye and it was delicious. It came with fries and the portions were huge. It’s a loud and happening place but fun. The prices of the food was surprising too, very affordable, especially for the portions you get. I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back.

Veronica and Mark were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! My wife and I come here every anniversary, but it was our first marriage anniversary last night and we went to Cowboy Star - it never disappoints! The food was amazing, she got a Wagyu skirt steak and I had the aged t-bone, both were spectacular and came with green beans and shallots. The customer service was (and always is) above and beyond. We recommend it by word-of-mouth but wanted to leave a review here too.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the hospitality at Seneca was exceptional. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and the venue is beautiful. Nothing but good things to say about this establishment. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
