Best Steak Restaurants in Waterbury

Delicious food pleasant service nice ambiance and cool seasoned popcorn instead of bread to start. No complains highly recommend! We got the Mac and cheese and Asian sticky ribs both were delicious!

This was our second time at Marketplace and we love it! The service and food are always good and the atmosphere is what we are looking for. It’s our new go to place when visiting the Woodbury area.

An absolute exquisite dining experience with incredible service, fine wines, and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant! Is the only place that I go where I never put anything on the steak. No salt or pepper or anything. The way it is seasoned and the way it comes is perfect every time. I’ve been going to J. Gilbert for 25 years and it’s amazing that I’ve never had to send anything back to the kitchen. They are so careful in their preparation and so precise. Such high-quality food. It’s also the restaurant I go to for every one of my birthdays!

Food is outstanding. Service was quite good. Ambience is great. A bit cold sitting by the door.

Nice atmosphere with a live band playing in the bar area, which could be heard in the dining room where we sat. Food was delicious & generous portions. Service was great! Server was attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed through our meal. Will definitely be back!
