Best Steakhouses in Benson

We had a great date night dinner at Cork. Alex was attentive but not hovering, and food and beverage were great. The 110 degrees cocktail was surprisingly spicy, the whiskey sour was tart and not too sweet, and the old fashioned was just right. For entrees we got the crab cake and the bison filet — one of the most delicious steaks we’ve had in a long time. Prices are fair for the quality. It’s not cheap but the taste, ambiance, and overall value is there, especially for a special dinner.

Open table and Fleming’s have gr8 relationship in recognition of our birthday celebration along with our seating preferences at Fleming’s. Server and support staff fabulous. Food was excellent. We got 1 price fix and gave us a chance to try new things at Fleming’s.

Christmas dinner at Sullivan’s was very busy. Considering the number of diners, the staff did an excellent job of service that felt surprisingly personal. We were seated at a table for five that felt surprisingly intimate. We were warned by our server that we were going to have to wait a while for our entrees to be prepared. But the time passed comfortably for us at least as it gave us more time for a good family conversation and visit. We have been dining out each Christmas for 10 years (except for 2 years during the Covid pandemic). This was the best Christmas dining-out experience we have had.

Tuna appetizer was so flavorful and presentation great. Love the vinaigrette on salad delicious. NY strip steak was done to perfection. My favorite restaurant in the area.

Firebirds was outstanding in every way. It's nice to have a high quality restaurant that's not half way across town. The entire staff gave the impression that our group was the only group in the entire place. Very refreshing in this day and age.
