Best Steakhouses in New Lenox

Everything was great from the moment we walked in the door. We were early for our reservation and they easily accommodated us. Every person to come to our table was nice and helpful great staff. The bone marrow was excellent as were all the steaks our party ordered. The dessert was a great end to our meal as well. Would definitely return.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner. The steaks were excellent and the service was outstanding! Our server's name was Trisha and she was so nice and attentive, took pictures of us and even purchased our dessert out of her own pocket! This was our first time dining there and we would recommend checking it out!

When making reservations several days ahead of Christmas, we asked for a table by the window and that is what we had - absolutely killer view! MANAGEMENT: Greeted and seated as we came in - no 'take a seat at the bar' delay. They discreetly oversaw the staff and were nonplused when I asked the manager to take our photo. STAFF: Our wait staff could not have been more accommodating. Server (Noel!) was extremely knowledgeable, gave us time to make decisions, had suggestions on our wine choices as well. She was attentive throughout the meal, but never rushed us and even chatted a bit though she had many tables to serve. Every employee wore CLEAN outfits (it always puts me off when the staff has food stains up and down their clothing). The restaurant was perfectly clean as well and a new table was brought in and set up quite near us, but done so quietly, we barely noticed. FOOD: We went with a shared filet and lobster tails with sauteed spinach. Except for the fact that we were given each other's plates by the food runner - no delineation that my husband had ordered rare and mine was med-rare. The food was hot and delicious and we ate ever scrap! Dessert was our first time having Baked Alaska and it was just as Noel had described. Large serving, so we even had some to take home for a midnight treat. PRICE/VALUE: We expected prices to be above what we would typically pay. That was OK with us - special occasion, Christmas treat, exceptional price for an exceptional experience. If you can afford to, please go and see what fine dining can be.

Our Christmas Eve dinner at Prime & Provisions was absolutely unforgettable! The food was phenomenal, but what truly made the evening exceptional was our server, Nate. From the moment we sat down, Nate made us feel welcome and taken care of with his warm personality and impeccable attention to detail. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and gave fantastic recommendations that turned our meal into a truly elevated experience. The holiday ambiance was perfect, and Nate’s professionalism and charm made it all the more special. Thank you, Nate, for making our Christmas Eve dinner so memorable! We’ll definitely be back and will be asking for you next time!

Whenever I’m in town during my birthday month, Mr. Benny’s is always where I want to dine with my family. Elegance, free parking, excellent food, friendly wait staff, logistically nearby; all WITHOUT having to travel to downtown Chicago!
