When we entered the restaurant I asked if Shawna was working this evening and when I heard that she was I requested a table in her section. She recognized us immediately. We told her we were in the mood for a quiet evening and we wanted to take our time with dinner and that is exactly what she did with us. The scallops wrapped with bacon and the lobster ravioli appetizers were extremely delicious. Both of our fillets topped with crab meat was just perfectly cooked and tasted so good with the au poivre preparation. The hot chocolate lava cake was so yummy and made a perfect ending for our phenomenal dinner. It was always hot, didn't feel like one course was waiting for the other. Perfect, something like you would expect from higher end places. Only one thing i would suggest, wait staff better educated on pairing drinks to your apps, or your meals. You are at the point where you don't want the new waiter but rather a seasoned waiter that knows how to communicate and get the entire table's attention. At Sullivan’s Steakhouse, I received outstanding service, and I had an excellent dining experience. My server Maurice was thorough and provided me and my guest with a superior level of personalized service. The food was prepared as requested, seasoned well and five stars delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was at a good holiday celebration noise level. And the few children I observed as present were well mannered and dressed nicely for the occasion. The manager Michael Pons Jr. was hands-on and very attentive to his restaurant guests. He made me feel like a valued customer. Everything was wonderful - from a warm welcome at check in, my fabulous, attentive server, Miss Brandy and, of course, the perfectly prepared food. Dining at Butcher + Singer is always a treat, but this particular meal will always be remembered as extra special. It was a last minute reservations because there was some issues with the restaurant we previously were to attend. The place was beautiful and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious. The drinks were right on point. The atmosphere was very inviting, warm, and friendly. Thank God for a wonderful night and a loving family. I look forward to the many more memories we will be making. I highly recommend this place to anyone for any occasion. The food is worth the price.
