Cat and Randy, their son & daughter in law, and Steve make up the family. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive. Each time, our selections were delicious, served hot when appropriate, and the portions are ample. Desserts!!! Oh my, they are a must try. Modern is our most favorite restaurant for lunch. Music is pleasant - and not blasting, thumping loud. The atmosphere is subdued and relaxing. We had a wonderful server and the manager stopped by during our meal to say hello. The bar is beautiful and we sat at a high top table for 4.The steak was prepared perfectly to our request. It was delicious and served on the wicked hot plates was amazing. It is expensive but well worth it when taking time to enjoy a bit of luxury! The food was incredible, but it was Sean who brought a certain flair and unrelenting wit to the table that really engrained this night into my memory. His recommendations and genuine honesty perfectly guided me through the dinner, and I feel that my experience was specially curated for me specifically. The ambiance was dark, yet comfortable.
