- CCameronGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful evening celebrating a family birthday. Went at 5:30 which is the first seating period. Had a drink at the bar before. The food was outstanding as was the service. For those of a certain age 😂 they bring a very bright lamp to the table to better see the menu so keep your phones flashlight off! Overall a great time! Highly recommend the filet mignon au poivre and the chocolate cake!More infoMooo BEACON HILLPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Beacon Hill•4.8
- MMichelleGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambiance was nice though loud. The waiter was attentive and apologetic when the bar was backed up with our drinks. We had the oysters, goat cheese dip, the special of the day, and the filet mignon. The oysters were delicious and the goat cheese dip was fantastic though we could have used more crackers for it. The special was amazing and the filet was perfectly cooked and tasty. The only issue I can complain about is the "service fee" that was added to the bill that we did not expect. The bill explained: "As the cost of doing business in Boston has increased dramatically in the past couple of years, our ability to increase the wages of our kitchen staff has been limited. A 3% kitchen appreciation fee helps us offset that. If you would like to have this fee removed from your check, please let us know." I did not have it removed but thinking about it later, I may have them remove it in the future. We all have experienced increased costs, and I'm not sure the service fee added is the way to offset those costs as a restaurant. I might rather see them raise the price of certain meals or sides by $1 which would make it more clear what the final cost of the meal is. For me, it was not about the actual money (which was only about $5), more about the unexpected add-on of the fee. Anyhow, we will be back to enjoy the delicious food and lovely atmosphere despite the added fee.More infoAmelia'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Stoughton•4.7

We had an early seating which prevented the restaurant from being too noisy. - HHoaVIPGreater Boston •18 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoService was excellent and food was very good. Though the hollandaise sauce with the Oscar style on my steak tasted weird. Kinda stale or old, just a very odd taste. Other than that overall food and service was great.More infoSmith & Wollensky Boston – Atlantic WharfPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Seaport•4.6
