Best Steakhouses in Urbandale

From the second we walked in in the doors, it was fantastic. Ambience, service, food was top tier. Something we’d never experienced before, so we decided to treat ourselves on our 5th anniversary! Like our waitress literally folded my husband’s napkin again all fancy, as he went to the bathroom. So many little things that made it perfect. We had fried calamari and king crab, filet mignon, asparagus and baked potato. They gifted us the most decadent soufflé for our occasion. Definitely worth it!

I did feel bad about going on Christmas day, but they were open anyway. We sat at the upstairs bar and the service was amazing! The food was very good as always. I really do not know way the front desk people all ways tell you to wait!? I just walked by them and went upstairs. Food was awesome.

Excellent food and service by Seth and Chuck! I always get the prime rib and it is the best! Very tender cut of beef you could cut with a plastic knife… please don’t change the meat sourcing as this is the best and well worth the $$$. AJs always has great specials too and is a good value as well. I dined on Christmas Day and despite being very busy, the staff did a great job and were efficient in service! Thanks again Seth as always!

Had a great night celebrating Christmas Eve. Food and service was amazing

Food was good but extremely overpriced. Wait staff was very attentive. Tables were tucked in very tight so not much privacy. I really like this steakhouse and have been numerous times before. Perhaps it was just extremely crowded with the holiday and the environment felt different but for some reason I felt a little abused at paying $600 to feed 5 people…no drinks involved.
