- KkathyToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe waitress took me to the right side first, which was very noisy. I asked her if there was a quieter seat, then she took me to the left side, which was less crowded and very nice. The Tuna Tartare and the first one on the dessert menu (forgot the name) are delicious!More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - LesliePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• North York / Shops at Don Mills•4.6

- GGRAEMEvipToronto / Ontario •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe ordered an expensive bottle of wine which after ordering another one we all felt wax corked. They took $17 off for a $125 bottle of wine. Steak was undercooked and went back in the grillMore infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Yonge & EglintonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Yonge–Eglinton•4.6

- MMitchellToronto / Ontario •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoTop sirloin was good and cooked as requested. However the steaks and accompaniment came out so fast that we were nowhere close to completing our cocktail and entree. When we stated this fact to the person presenting us our meal, we were offered an opportunity to have him return the dish (cooked steak and sides) to a warming oven! Obviously, presented these options, we accepted our steaks and continued on with our meal (however, now we went on by combining the remainder of our cocktail, with the remainder of our entree along with the quickly “getting cold” hunk of meat at the same time! Sort of al la carte! Dining experience! Ironically, the sommeliers request for us to order a bottle or glass of wine shortly after delivering the steak to as (to accompany or now melange dining experience) was refused. Also, we wanted to avoid the possibility of receiving our wine, to be poured and be presented immediately after with an opportunity to order and receive our coffee/apparetif and our dessert, 5 minutes later. Somone at the Keg needs to revisit the basic steakhouse traditions - your steak should only be fired within “a reasonable time “ after someone on the team has first checked in with the customer (at the time of order or within a reasonable time thereafter) that “they” want the meal (aka: steak) fired as soon as the order arrives in the kitchen or, at or the time the customer has completed their entrees and cocktails Other than that, the food was great! Some could argue in reply to my comments above that it was “my” responsibility to guide and direct Kegs staff on my options and choices. In other words, that the onus was on me to notify and alert their staff on my “special” needs? Rest assured that I did not punish my server. Not at all for this! He was tipped generously for serving a party of 2 on 11/24/2024! This nice young man was extremely courteous, personable and engaging! Who am I to teach him the traditions of a high end steakhouse!More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - North YorkPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• North York / Shops at Don Mills•4.5
