Best Sushi Restaurants in Grosse Pointe

idk why so many people give this place bad reviews but me and my girlfriend went last night and i had a great time. she had a great time too and loved the food. took almost an hour to sit down but they were busy it happens. chef took a minute to come out but honestly who cares the food was amazing, tried shrimp for the first time and it tasted great lol wouldn’t mind if they replaced the tobasco with franks lmao chicken and steak could’ve used more seasoning but honestly overall i was completely satisfied. tipped like 25$

Wonderful experience for it to be our first time dining here. Our waiter Teal was amazing, she gave dinner options and was able to explain all our questions, she was very informed . We will be back. Thank you Teal for making our Valentine’s Day special.

My husband and I really enjoyed our date night out for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be the first to say that I am not a fan of Asian Fusion cuisine, HOWEVER It was definitely an Experience that we enjoyed from start to finish. The drinks, appetizers, dinner and desserts were EXCELLENT! The service was SUPERB and the atmosphere was AMAZING!!! 5 stars across the board. I literally have ZERO complaints. I can’t wait to come back again!!

Food and drinks were good. Enjoyed Happy Hour promos with cheap drinks and deals on apps. Spicy margs were great! Ate the beef tips, empanada, two sushi rolls, two tacos, and gelato and affagata for dessert. Highlights were the beef tips and the grilled halloumi taco. Sushi was very good as well Disappointed in the mushroom taco, which had a very heavy mustard/horseradish flavour with the sauce and the salted caramel chocolate gelato, which tasted more like chocolate brownie ice cream. Server started off very strong, then didn’t see him much and waited long towards the end of the meal. Hair on my espresso cup, which he saw me pull off. Asked for sugar with it but replied that most people don’t ask for it. Drank half without and came back to offer sugar, which I no longer needed. Artwork on walls is cool, but ambiance feels kind of cold. Reminds me of a bowling alley almost, for some reason. Overall, a few small issues but would visit again as the positives outweighed the negatives.

My sons recommended Chandelier for an early evening dinner and I must admit it was an excellent choice. Went there before a concert at the Fox and was happy with the choice as we were pondering where to go. Went there before had the lobster fried rice, it was excellent. Also have the shrimp tempura and fried chicken wings. Both were tasty. We will definitely return to try other dishes and drinks.
