- EelisePhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTook our son here on a Tuesday night. Made reservations same day, no problem. Ordered edamame, shishito peppers, brussels sprouts. Then three special rolls: Fishtown, Broad Street and King Ghidora. Cocktails ordered: Lycheetini, Winston's Heat and a Shisho Picante. Food and drinks were all delicious and beautiful. Waiter was attentive and prompt. Only negative—table was sticky. Otherwise I can't wait to return.More infoTuna BarPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Old City•4.9

We had a hiccup when my drink fell but it still didn’t bother me because everything else was perfect for my birthday. Thank you!More infoMorimotoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Center City•4.7
- AAlisonPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 21, 2025What a difference a few years makes! We are longtime customers and did not have the best experience when management changed a few years ago. Now gyu kaku is back and better! The filet mignon and hanger steak were cut well. We got the beef sukiyaki and garlic fried rice, and both were delicious. Service was prompt, and our waiter made sure to check in on us. Overall I am super happy that gyu kaku is like the one I knew pre pandemic, and I will come back when possible! Would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Philadelphia, PA | Logan Square (The Granary)Price: Moderate• Japanese• Art Museum•4.9
