- JJayneVancouver / British Columbia •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy sister and I were celebrating her birthday as well as attending an event the day so we were making a trip out of it and staying the night at the Pan Pacific as well. Our server Lenny was very gracious, professional and provided us with what I felt was a luxury level of service. As a surprise, he gave us a little starter of tuna (I think) ceviche to mark our "sister's night out" which was delicious! For our starters, we ordered the Calamari in Tempura Batter which was so tasty and crispy. ALL calamari should be made with tempura batter! My sister ordered the Ebi Fritters which we both ended up loving for the crispiness, serving size and taste! I ate the tails too! I ordered the Mackarel and Salmon Oshi which I have had many times before and it NEVER disappoints! OMG, it was just as delicious as I was expecting! My sister ordered the Miku Roll which she also loved. I will definitely dine here again! Thank you to Miku and Lenny for a great night!More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
- MMonikaVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWow!!! Deep thanks to our server Akane for the wonderful experience we had while eating our Taste of Minami menu for me and my sister’s birthdays. Akane was lovely, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about what the dishes were, and her speed as well as anticipating what we needed was impeccable. Each bite was absolutely telling of the meticulous way the chefs cook their dishes, and I 100% tasted authentic Japanese cuisine with the Pacific Northwestern touch. My FAVE dishes? All of them; in particular I really enjoyed the bluefin redwave roll and Aburi Oshi—it was like a party in my stomach! Never tasted Bluefin Akami before so when I did, I was mindblown—the sashimi and nigiri meat simply melted on my tongue. Thanks so much Akane and Minami! Definitely coming back again 💞💞💞More infoMinami RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Yaletown•4.7
- SSerenaVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAlley 16 is an awesome spot for yakiniku, especially if you love high-quality meat. Their A5 Wagyu and other cuts are super fresh and packed with flavor. One of my favorite dish is scallop uni. The staff is really friendly and makes sure you have a great time. Plus, you get your own grill at the table, so you can cook everything just the way you like it. Definitely a solid choice for a nice night out or a special treat!!!More infoAlley 16 (十六堂)Price: Expensive• Barbecue• Mount Pleasant•4.8
