- KKennethVIPLos Angeles •15 reviews5.0Dined todayTwo members of our party have numerous food allergies. One can’t eat nightshades which are present in almost all their menu items. Our server was very helpful and the chef remade a chicken dish to accommodate the allergy. Our friend could not stop raving about the dish. Everything we ordered was spectacular. Another member of our party is allergic to chocolate and dairy, she usually is unable to partake in dessert. She was very excited to see banana sorbet with tamarind sauce on the menu, it was so yummy. We had a fabulous dining experience and will go back soon.More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7

Have fortunately experienced Chef Izards food before, and this is on par with her level of excellence. Wonderful staff, great rooftop location. Not cheap, but certainly value for the quality.More infoCabra - LAPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Downtown•4.7
- HHectorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024If you're craving authentic Japanese food, Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya in Alhambra is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that transports you straight to Japan. I started with their famous Japanese meat skewers—absolutely delicious! The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. I’ll definitely be back for more!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya - AlhambraPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Alhambra•4.6
